Speen Village Stores & and Speen Post Office opened on the original shop site in 1998 having been taken over and refurbished by the Bucks Housing Association. Since July 2024 the shop is now run by Ranjan and his wife Dee.

The shop was run by Ruban and his wife Vicky with occasional help from sons Sanjeev and Sanush between 2021 and July 2024. The retail space was significantly increased in Oct 2021 before their re-opening party on Saturday 16th October 2021. Ruban was running the Post Office

Goodbye Ali and Bob Tea Party
2nd April 2022 – Farewell Tea Party held at Speen Chapel for Ali, Bob, Connie and Ian to mark the end of their long and outstanding service to Speen. Image source Ian Warr. The event had been postponed because of the Covid situation in 2021
